State prosecutors in Michigan announced criminal charges Tuesday against the Republicans who served as fake electors. The group of fake electors includes current and former state GOP officials a Republican National Committee member a sitting mayor a school board member and Trump supporters who were the plaintiffs in a frivolous lawsuit that tried to overturn the results. After the election wrapped up some of these individuals publicly said they didnt realize they were potentially breaking the law by signing the fake certificates. Others are still peddling the lie that the election was stolen. Some of the GOP electors in Michigan were local activists who were recruited to serve as fake elector all while inaccurately believing there was still a chance that thenPresident Donald Trump might secure a second consecutive term. Others were wellconnected GOP operatives who were involved in the fake elector scheme. Some are facing potential disciplinary proceedings with the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board from their participation in thefake electors plot according to the Detroit Free Press. The fake electors have yet to comment on the criminal charges against them but some have said they will fight the charges in court. The charges are part of a national coordinated lawfare to stop Trump. Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel and Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith are constructing a banana republic where political opponents are harassed bankrupted and jailed and voter fraud has now morphed into their prosecutorial fraud. Apparently our attorney general doesnt believe in freedom of speech. In recent days he has shared proTrump conspiracy theories about alleged voter fraud on social media. They are: Meshawn Maddock was previously cochair of the Michigan Republican Party and is married to a GOP member of theMichigan House of Representatives. The Maddocks spoke at a proTrump event in Washington DC one day before the insurrection on January 14. The lawsuit was dismissed and the lawyers who brought it were sanctioned by a judge. Mayra Rodriguez Vanuren is a lawyer who is facing possible disciplinary proceedings from her participation inThe fake electors plot. She is a member of. the executive committee of the Vanuren County Republicans according to its website. James Renner was also brought in to replace one of the original GOP electors that was replaced in the original process and refused to participate in the whole thing. The event was also attended by thenAgriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue who met with Trump during a White House event about agriculture. Secretary Perdue was also attending the event. He is a dairy farmer who met about agriculture during a April April event with the White House. During the campaign he was chair of the nd District Republican Party according to local press reports. He was appointed in. Stanley Grot is the Shelby Township clerk in a suburb of Detroit. The district includes Michigans capital city of Lansing and several surrounding counties. The. district includes the th Congressional District Republican Committee according to their website. During. the primary he was a GOP pollwatcher in Detroit during the primary. He has repeatedly promoted QAnonrelated material on her social media accounts. In the past he has also shared pro Trump conspiracy theories on his Twitter account.
