Under the NDAA the new changes are set to take effect by December but per the administration official the OSTC has already been established within the Department of Defense and is in the process of staffing up . The new changes will also alter the courtmartial sentencing system to promote uniformity and fairness . The changes are expected to take place by the end of the next month . The White House official said the full changes will be released in the federal register which could take place in the next few days but may take some time to be announced in a few weeks before the official said it may take time to get back to the White House’s office of courts martial court martial system to be published by the Federal Court of Courts Martial to be released by the next week . The change is expected to be finalized in the coming months. The changes will not be announced by the National Court of Court of Martial. The change does not necessarily apply to the next two months.
