Fewer than half of Americans say that Biden cares about people like them and to approve of his overall job performance declining shares see him as inspiring confidence down percentage points since March or having the stamina and sharpness to serve effectively as president down points from March . Most Democratic voters wish they had an alternative to Biden up from in March though still below the high of who said they were seeking an alternative last summer . Most Democratical voters younger than say they approve of Biden’s job performance overall in a substantial majorities also say that he does not inspire confidence in a break from older partisans in a January January at age .
