The special grand jury in Fulton County investigating the presidential election in Georgia recommended charges against Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and former GOP Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler of Georgia . Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis did not charge the lawmakers when she returned an indictment last month against former President Donald Trump and codefendants in the sprawling racketeering case . It was up to the district attorney to decide how closely to stick to the special grand jurys recommendations . The senators have denied any wrongdoing related to the election . The investigation was sparked by Trumps January phone call with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger where Trump asked him to find the votes he needed to win the state . The panel ultimately heard from witnesses. The report was released from witnesses . The report is expected to be released by the Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney on December 4, 2015 . The trial is set to begin again on November 4, 2014.
