Consumers should immediately take the cups away from children and stop using them the agency said. No incidents or injuries have been reported. There is no known safe level of lead exposure in children. Liquids in the cup are not exposed to lead due to the double walled construction of our cups. The cups are not available in the US and can be purchased online atAmazon.com or Cupkin’s website. They are sold in oz and oz sizes and are available in a range of colors and styles. The cup bottoms are not affected by the recall. The company says the cups are made of stainless steel and have a double-walled construction and do not contain any glass or other materials that could expose children to lead in the bottom of the cup. It says the cup is designed to keep liquids out of the cups, so there is no risk of lead contamination of the liquid inside the cup due to its double-wall construction. It has not been reported that any children have been injured by the recalled cups or that the cups have been used in any incidents.
