The Trump Organization is trying to determine the sweep of Tuesday’s ruling that Donald Trump is liable for fraud and what it means for the future of the former presidents namesake business his attorneys say . At a pretrial hearing Wednesday Trump attorneys said they didnt know to which part of the company the ruling applied and were starting to work out what may need to be dissolved to comply with the judges surprise decision . Trump is scheduled to be deposed for a civil lawsuit brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James over allegations that the Trump Organization falsified financial statements in order to obtain loans . The lawsuit seeks to remove Trump and his children from their roles at The Trump . Organization and ban them from future leadership roles in the state of New York and repay million that was allegedly obtained illegally . The trial will still proceed on Monday as scheduled the judge said . The judge extended the timeline to days to come up with a plan for the receivership up from the original version of the original . But questions still remain as to how the receiver would dissolve the properties located outside of . New York state including MaraLago and if the Trumps could transfer the New Yorkbased assets into a new company located in a new . company located out of state are still to be located in New York State . The Trumps may not be able to transfer the assets to a new New York based company into a . new company based out of State of State . It is not clear if they would have to be transferred to a company based in New New York or to relocate to a New York location . The receiver would not have to use a new state based in a New .
