The US has committed to approving the transfer of F fighter jets for Ukraine as soon as training is complete . Denmark and the Netherlands have taken the lead in preparing a program to train Ukrainian pilots on the American jet . The training program was initially expected to start this month but it is now unclear exactly when it will start or how long it is expected to take . Even though a number of other countries fly the F the US needs to sign off on the training materials simulators and manuals for the jet because it is an American aircraft carrying sensitive technology . Even so Ukraine said Wednesday that it didnt expect to receive Fs until sometime next year and that it was not expected to be able to defend the country with Fs this fall and winter until next year . A onepage training concept from the Danish Ministry of Defense laid out a sixmonth plan to prepare pilots and ground crews to operate the fighter jet. But the US has yet to receive a formal training plan for the fighter fighter jet is still to be ready to operate it for the U.S. National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby told CNN’s Jake Tapper on Thursday that the training is going to get started here relatively soon and that training is likely to begin soon. The training is scheduled to begin in the next few months. It is unclear exactly where it will begin again. It was also unclear how long the training will begin to begin again to begin. The U.N.
