Carlos De Oliveira the MaraLago property manager and newest codefendant in the special counsels criminal case charging former President Donald Trump and his staff with mishandling classified information made his initial appearance in a Miami courtroom on Monday . On Monday he was informed of his rights as a criminal defendant but did not enter a formal plea during the roughly minute hearing . He will be arraigned on August in Ft. He also allegedly tried to hide the documents from investigators . The indictment also alleges that Trump schemed with NautA a Navy veteran and Trumps close aide to hide them from investigators to cover up the documents . The case has been described as ‘a cover-up to cover the cover up for months’ and that they tried to cover it up for several months . De Oliveiroira did not have a lawyer for months.
