Trevor Noah’s final show is set to air this Thursday. Al Franken, Chelsea Handler, D. L. Hughley, Leslie Jones, John Leguizamo, Hasan Minhaj, Kal Penn, Sarah Silverman, Wanda Sykes and Marlon Wayans will fill in as host. Comedy Central added that “Daily Show” correspondents and contributors are also “set to host with additional details to be announced” The network has yet to announced whether guest hosts will revolve indefinitely or if a permanent, individual host will be named soon. “The Daily Show” airs weeknights at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central and is available the following morning on Paramount+, The show will be replaced by a new series, “The Colbert Report,” which will air in the fall, according to a statement from the network’s president/CEO. The new series will focus on the history of the late-night talk show and will be hosted by a different host each week. The series will be called “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and will air on CBS Sundays at 10:30 p.M. ET. The series, which airs on CBS, will be the first of its kind since “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” in 2009, and the first since “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” in 2010. The show is based on the book “The Last Show with Larry King” by Larry King, which was written by David Letterman and Larry King Jr. It will be based on a true story of the life of Larry King and his late father, Larry King Sr. The book will be published by Simon & Schuster, which will also publish a book about Larry King’s life, “Larry King Live,” in 2012. The first book will also be published in the summer of 2012 by Simon and Schuster. The second will be released in the spring of 2013 by Simon&Schuster, and will feature Larry King himself. The third will be written by Stephen King, who will also serve as the show’s executive producer. The final episode of the show will air January 17th, 2013, at 11pm ET. The last episode will be a special tribute to the late Jon Stewart, who left the show in 2009. The episode will also feature a Q&A with Stewart’s family and friends, including his son, Jon Stewart Jr. and his daughter, Sarah Stewart. The finale will be followed by a special, live-action episode of “Late Show with Seth Meyers” on January 18th, at 9pm ET/ PT. The fourth episode will air at 10pm ET on January 19th. The fifth and final episode is scheduled for January 20th, and it will be filmed in New York City. The sixth and seventh episodes will be shot in Los Angeles. The seventh and eighth episodes will air from January 21st and 28th, respectively, in San Francisco and San Diego.
