Kirstie Alley often talked of her feelings for John Travolta. The pair starred together in the “Look Who’s Talking” film franchise. Alley said not sleeping with the movie star was “the hardest decision I’ve ever made” She was married to actor Parker Stevenson at the time, and the couple divorced in 1997. The actor paid tribute to Alley on social media Monday. “I love you Kirstie. I know we will see each other again,” he wrote on his verified Instagram account. “It took me years to not look at John as a romantic interest,” she said in 2013. “We were fun and funny together,” Alley said of the pair’s chemistry. “And that was sort of when I had to make a decision and that was pretty much the end of that,” she told Howard Stern in 2013 of her relationship with the actor. “If I hadn’t been married I would’ve gone and married him and I would’s been in an airplane because he has his [own plane],” Alley said in 2018 on “Celebrity Big Brother U.K.” The actor died Monday at the age of 71 after a brief illness, according to his verified social media account. He wrote: “Kirsty was one of the most special relationships I’veEver had” in a post on his Instagram account on Monday. The post was accompanied by a photo of the actor with Alley in the 1970s and 1980s, when he was in his early 30s and she was in her early 40s. The two were married in 1997, but divorced in 2000, when they were still in their early 50s, and Alley was still in her mid-40s, he said in the post. “That’s the kind of person I am,” he said, “and that’s the type of guy I am. I’m not going to cheat on my husband. I don’t cheat on anyone.” “I did love him, I still love him,” she added. “He’s a great guy. He’s not a bad guy. I love him to death,” the actress said in a 2018 interview with “The Dan Wootton Interview” podcast. ‘I almost ran off and married John. I was madly in love with him,” Alley told the podcast. “Why are you flirting with my husband?” she asked. “Kelly came up to me and they were married then, and she said, ‘Why were you flirts with myhusband?'” Alley said. ‘And that’s when I made the decision to not sleep with him,’ she said on the show. ‘It wasn’t a sexual relationship because I’mNot going to cheating on myhusband.’ ‘I know I will see him again,’ Travolta said in his post on Instagram. ‘That’s who I am,’ Alley replied. ‘He’s my best friend,’ the actor said in another post on her verified account. ‘We’ll be together again,’ he said.
