Gabourey Sidibe revealed on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” that she is married. The actress and her husband, Brandon Frankel, were married over a year ago. Frankel posted a series of pictures of the couple showing off their rings to his Instagram. He said he feels “relieved we can finally tell the world” about the news. “Nobody I would rather raise cats with and be in bed by a smooth 8pm with. Love you forever,” Frankel wrote in a message to Sidibe on his Instagram account. “The thing about weddings is I don’t like them,” Sidibe told the hosts of “Live” Sidibe and Frankel will have a secret wedding in March 2021, but will eventually have a wedding to placate her mother-in-law, who she says has been at “a lot of weddings, uninvited” herself. “Precious” is nominated for five Oscars, including best supporting actress for Sidibe’s performance in the film “La Vie en Rose” The couple is expecting their first child in the fall of next year, according to Sidibes’ social media accounts. They are also expecting a baby in the spring of 2020, though they haven’t confirmed a date yet. “Every day is the best day with you,” said Frankel in an Instagram message to his wife. “So thankful to have found my forever person, my partner- in-crime, and the love of my life. Every day is abest day withyou,” he added. “SURPRISE! I can finally call her my WIFE publicly!” he wrote in another Instagram post on Monday. “I’m actually married. We got married overa year ago,” the actress said on the show. “Here’s an example of how much I don’s like them: I’m actuallymarried. we got married,” she said of her distaste for weddings. “We were married at the kitchen table,” and the ceremony was so small, it was “just us,” she added. The revelation left Ryan Seacrest “confused,” while Kelly Rippa asked if this was indeed “breaking news” The actress also revealed that her mother was a wedding singer, meaning she’s “been at a lot of wedding singer’s uninvite” events herself. She also said that she doesn’t like the idea of having a baby at the same time as her husband. “There’s no way I could do that to you,” she told him. “You’re the only person I want to raise my kids with,” he replied. “That’s what I want you to know,” he said in a follow-up Instagram post. “It’s the most important thing in the world to me. I’m so excited to have you in my life,” she continued. “This is the most exciting thing I’ve ever been a part of,” the actor said of Frankel’s proposal. “He’s the man of my dreams,” he told her.
